Board of Trustees
The body of trustees is composed of members aged not less than thirty five (35) years. Currently, there are seven (7) trustees referred as Founder Registered Trustees of TERNET namely:

1. Hon. Joseph Sinde Warioba                                  - Chairman
2. Ambassador Dr. Pius Yasebasi Ng'wandu         - Member
3. Prof Matthew Laban Luhanga                                - Member
4. Mrs. Mercy E. Sila                                                     - Member
5. Prof. Ester Mwaikambo                                          - Member
6. Prof. J. S. Nkoma                                                    - Member
7. Mr. Harry M. Kitillya                                                - Member

The Council
The Council is composed of Vice Chancellors of Universities, Principals of Colleges, Directors of Institutes, Centres or Directorates which are Member Institutions and the Executive Secretary of TERNET.

Executive Committee
The Executive Committee is composed of deputies of chief executive officers of the Member Institution.

Technical Committee
The Technical Committee is composed of seven members with expertise and general capability in teaching, research and consultancy service provision from member institutions.The technical committee will be composed of :  

1. One (1) Member Open University of Tanzania (OUT) - (Mr. Stephen J. Lukindo)
2. One (1) Member appointed by the Hubert Kairuki Memorial University (HKMU) - (Vacant, wait for response)
3. One (1) Member appointed by the Dar es Salaam Institute of Technology (DIT) - (Mr. Nkundwe Moses Mwasaga )
4. One (1) Members appointed by the University of Dar es Salaam (UDSM) - (Dr. Hashim Twaakyondo)
5. One (1) Members appointed by the Tumaini University (TU) - (Mr. Wilfred Jackson Warioba )
6. One (1) Member appointed by the State University of Zanzibar (SUZA - (Vacant, wait for response)
7. One (1) Member appointed, on a three year rotational basis, by the Council from amongst other Member Institutions in accordance with relevant bye-laws of TERNET- (Eng. Peter Ulanga)

Secretariat
The Secretariat is the executive organ of TERNET and Consist of the following officers:

2. Deputy Executive Secretaries
3. Counsel,
4. Accountant
5. Other Officers
