ceoEverything we do at TERNET is centered on answering one key question, “How can we help education and research institutions in Tanzania harness the power of collaborative ICT?”. Innovative answers to this key question have been derived by highly professional and committed team of TERNET secretariat, who, through their hard work, passion, dedication and integrity, continuously drive TERNET forward.

From its establishment in 2008 to 2018, we are proud to be able to grow the membership base from 5 to 64 respectively and provide 12 services to members with the key service being connectivity to the collaborative network infrastructure. These quality services as well as linkage to international education and research community have been possible due to collaboration with national and international stakeholders in education and research.
Being a small secretariat team of a big membership organization, our culture is far-removed from short-term logic and is very much about building solid, long-term connectivity infrastructure and services that will benefit TERNET members and their clients for many years to come. This has been possible because of our relentless commitment to work closely in understanding not only the key strategic goals of TERNET members, but also that subtle match between the services we provide and the member’s unique needs.
On my own behalf, and on behalf of TERNET Board of Trustees, Executive Committee and the entire secretariat team, we look forward to serving you, TERNET member, and your institution ICT needs to the best of our abilities.
