Online Student Information Manager System



OSIM Brief

Since 2017 TERNET has put in place OSIM to facilitate students’ management for its members. OSIM stands for Online Students Information Manager, it is a system designed to handle student matters from admission to graduation and alumni. OSIM has about 10 modules: Core Student Management System, Academic Record Management System, Fee and Payment Management System, Online Student Admission System, Quality Assurance and Evaluation System, Hostel and Accommodation Management System, Time Table Management System, Notes and Resource System Management (e-Learning), Industrial/Practical Training (PT) or Field Work Management.

OSIM is integrated with other stakeholders systems such as National Council for Technical Education (NACTE), Tanzania Commission for Universities (TCU), Government e-payment gateway (GePG), National Examination Council of Tanzania (NECTA), and major banks.
