In order to continue building the ICT capacity of our member institutions we have established partnerships with major strategic organizations like IBM and Internet Society to make sure we deliver necessary content that is beyond our capabilities but within the capabilities of our partners.
We started with IBM training in the area of data intelligence hosted in Dar es Salaam  by the Open University of Tanzania from 22nd to 26th July 2019. This training involved theory and hands-on practice using sophisticated data analytic platforms from IBM. We had 19 participants from member institutions who gained experience in processing and using data to enable business analysis and strategic planning in their institutions. It is our hope that these IT staff will assist their institution's management in making well informed decisions using data.
